MANSH Festival/Competition is a great opportunity for young musicians around the world to meet famous musicians and professors in person, sharing their professional experience. Renowned professional concert musicians, professors and young talented musicians, at the beginning of their career, will be part of the music framework.

 

The Festival/Competition offers the following:

  • Opening concerts by jury

  • Master classes

  • Workshops for teachers for free during master classes

  • Concerts presented by participants

  • Competition with all participants

  • Gala concert

​Afriforum Theatre/ Voortrekker Monument. Pretoria, South Africa

Free programme. The repertoire should include conventional Western classical music, Baroque through Romantic, and contemporary classical music. Arrangements of popular songs or music from musicals/soundtracks are not acceptable.

All performances are to be from memory.
 

  • 6-9 years old: 10 minute 

  • 10-15 years old: 15 minutes 

  • 16-30 years old: 25 minutes 


 

There are three age groups:

  • 6-9 years old (as on 1 January)

  • 10-15 years old (as on 1 January)

  • 16-30 years old (as on 1 January)

 

The competition is open to all nationalities.

The jury’s decisions are final and irrevocable.

All performances are open to the public

In case of radio or television productions or audio and/or video recordings of any

performance, the participating candidates have no right to advance financial claims

or requests towards producers or broadcasters.

The first 10 candidates accepted as participants to the competition, will be given preference to be places with guest hosts and can stay for free for the duration of the festival/competition.

6-9 years old: 100 Euro
